Solar Car Team Update – For the Week of 3/2/2020

Highlights Of What We Accomplished Since The Last Update

• Saturday, February 29th
• Our regularly scheduled workday was canceled, so that Shannon could focus his attention on completing the registration packets for both teams that had to be postmarked by that day.
• The registration packets were completed on time and submitted to the Solar Car Challenge organization!

• Sunday, March 1st
• Team workday at the solar car shop – Jake, Kayson, Zach, Chris, Ellia, and one of Ellia’s friends, Catherine Perfect, met with Shannon, Brian and Mark and continued construction on the new car (see photos below).
• Began constructing and attaching the front double wishbone suspension mounting points.
• Press broke, match drilled, and installed the RivNuts for the right hand side rear outer crush zone structure.
