The Covenant Solar Car program is a student focused, hands-on engineering project that allows students to design, construct and race a solar electric vehicle in a highly competitive environment with participating schools throughout the US. The spirit of the program is to allow students to develop skills in the areas of project management, engineering, fabrication, testing, and competitive racing in a highly collaborative team environment.

The evening of day 3 when we arrived into El Paso started out jubilant, because we had now made it to the 1/2 way point

On July 20th, during Race Day 4 of the Solar Car Challenge, the CCA Solar Car Advanced Classic Division team placed 1st in our division.
On July 17th, at 7:30 p.m. the Solar Car Challenge held the annual awards banquet. CCA was honored to win first in the nation again
